Freebie Friday (Double Edition)

I missed last week I do have a really good reason I was in Cookie Purgatory, I do believe that is what they call it when you are 1) a leader/cookie mom and 2) can't eat any of the said cookies because they are not Gluten-Free.  I mean I would love to sit back and eat a whole box of Samoas right now, instead I just stare at their purple boxes, I am pretty sure they are laughing at me.

This was only half of them

As you can see one member of my family was not happy with this development

Besides cookies, I am officially enrolled in college I start back March 3rd.  This development happened much quicker than expected but I am ready to get back to school.  I am excited to see how long it will take me to finish, I am hoping to be done in December if everything transfers.

Today the Freebie is a double because I completely forgot last week.  The cookies may or may not look like the cookies I have been staring at for the past week.  Girl Scouts of America has no affiliation with A.J.'s Digi Shoppe.

I was having a little bit of trouble with the hyperlinks so if the pictures don't work click on the words below.

I hope everyone has a great weekend and Happy Valentine's Day!

Freebie Friday - John Lennon Quote

I missed Monday Release, sorry everyone I am pretty sure I can only handle Freebie Fridays.  This week involved a lot of sewing for me and other random things happened.  I just don't have enough hours in a day to post everything that I need.  My biggest problem is I love sleep, I will sacrifice sleep when I absolutely have to but the six hours I get a night I sort of need.  I also don't get a lot of time to sit, type, upload, and format with Booga constantly trying to "help" me (that is why you sometimes see random typos or things just not making sense).

I also started the ball rolling in getting back into the outside the home "workforce" in some form of hospitality management (Sales, Revenue or Reservations).  Keep your fingers crossed for me because I am a tad excited with the prospect of wearing a suit, make-up and having a manicure every other week (something that really hasn't happened in a while - lol).  I have been a work inside the home mom/stay at home mom for almost five years now, I miss interacting with people over the age of twenty.  I love my children with all my heart and soul but when mom quotes SpongeBob to her adult friends it is time to find something else to do.  I am also looking at going back to school and getting my Business Degree, I figured my eight year break has been long enough and I spent a lot of money/time on school not to have that piece of paper.  My children are 8 and 4 and I have spent the past five years with them (every day, almost every waking hour), I know my job is not done and will never be "done" but I am ready to move on to the next chapter of this unwritten book.

I will continue to do the newsletter and the Freebie Fridays, sadly I can't keep up with the weekly releases.  Sorry for the long winded post but I wanted to let everyone know what is going on and that I am not just ignoring the Digi Shoppe, I am ignoring all of social media equally.

With that I leave you with todays Freebie - one of my favorite quotes by John Lennon

Freebie Friday - Big Brother/Big Sister Sentiment

When I was pregnant with Booga (my son) the only thing I wanted for my daughter was a Big Sister shirt.  I thought it would be so cute if I got a picture of my daughter holding my son with her Big Sister shirt on.  In theory this was perfect it was going to be a wonderful shot that I would cherish forever.  It did not work like that at all my daughter wanted NOTHING to do with my son when he was born.  The only pictures I got were these:

Booga is about 4 days old as you can see the Princess is plugging her ears because he is screaming.

Here is another photo I tried to get a couple months later once again not much success.

Freebie Friday - More Baby Sentiments

It is definitely Baby Season I had one friend who had their baby Monday, I have another who just hit 40 weeks (she is miserable, poor thing) and I have another friend due in three weeks.  Not to mention the friends who are due in April and May.

Booga asked when I was holding one of the babies, if we were going to get one of those anytime soon.  I told him probably not.  He was a tad disappointed.  I asked him why was he sad.  He then responded because he wanted to blame all the bad stuff he did on the baby.  I admit I appreciate his honesty, so I must be doing something right.

I hope everyone has a great weekend, I will be starting my seeds for my garden (yes I grow from seeds and yes I have a garden or try to have a garden).

Freebie Friday - Baby Sentiments

In the past month I have had one family member and a friend of mine give birth to new bundles of joy.  I also have two other friends who are due in the next month and another who is due in April.  So I have been making lots of baby cards recently and decided to expand the sentiments and offer them as Freebies.

The footprints are actually from a stamp I created from my son's day old prints.  I do admit I miss those little toes and that new baby smell sometimes but I then remember I can sleep through the night without being bothered (there is the occasional fur baby visit due to weather booms).  For now I will settle for rent-a-babies getting my baby snuggles in without all the hard work of a new born.

Very Late Freebie Fridays (Double Freebies)

Greetings everyone,
I am sorry for the lack of posting but I have had some major technical difficulties that I hope after almost two weeks it is finally fixed (i.e. no internet or too spotty of internet to upload anything).

I have also been working on Christmas projects, baking, cleaning, and wrapping (something I truly despise doing).  I have also been planning for 2014, lots of new fun ideas.

This one was suppose to be two weeks ago, I finally got it to upload:

I hope everyone has a wonderful Christmas and a great New Year (that covers me if the internet decides to completely wig out again this week).

Freebie Friday - Faith Star

A tad late today but I did remember this week it was Friday!  I have been working hard on the 2014 plans for the Digi Shoppe.  I am very excited about 2014 and what it has in store for the Digi Shoppe.  I have been modifying the Digi Shoppe site and hope to have everything finished soon.

Today's Freebie was inspired by an ornament I created for my Etsy Shop.  I have mentioned I got many ideas from the ornaments I created and this is one of them.

I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend, we plan on finishing our decorating, getting some baking done and enjoying some time with friends who are set to move next week.

Freebie Friday - Tree

Greetings everyone!

I have been quiet recently primarily because I bruised my right ulna (yes it was extremely painful and prevented me from doing anything).  I have also been creating Christmas Ornaments for my Etsy Shop at a crazy pace (one of my many ventures I do).  Believe it or not, the clay has really helped with gaining strength back in my hand.  I have also been working on ideas for new digis as well as ideas for 2014 which is right around the corner.  Some of the new ideas I have came from creating the ornaments out of clay.

I also want to apologize that this post is late I forgot to hit publish and didn't realize it until after I got home from my son's Preschool Program (it was amazingly cute for the record).

Freebie Friday - Sentiment

I am slowly getting back to being able to hold a pencil but it has been a very slow recovery process.  I traditionally shy away from creating sentiments which is ironic because I personally love sentiments especially when I scrapbook.  I created two new sentiments for everyone.  I hope everyone has a great weekend and week.

Freebie Friday - Puffin

It is November and only 53 Days till Christmas!  Yes I am in complete panic mode, not quite hyperventilating into a bag but in a couple weeks I see that completely possible.

I have been creating ornaments for my Etsy Store some inspired by digis and others that will inspire digis.  My Etsy Store is for my "other" art besides my digis, I promise I do sleep even though it may not seem like I do.

As promised here are some Halloween Photos of the kiddos:

My Puffin

So in honor of my daughter's costume this year here is this week's Freebie:  A Puffin

Freebie Friday - Monster in Disguise

October is almost over and I wanted to share one of my Halloween Favorites, the Groucho Glasses and Stache.

Every year I would have to put on a pair of these because to me it wasn't Halloween until I put on the glasses.

We survived our Build-a-Bear Bash here is my Princess with here Bear:
(I can't believe she is going to be 8 on Tuesday!)

I hope everyone has a safe and happy Halloween!  I hope to actually get some cute photos of the kids this year of their costumes.  My daughter is going as a Puffin and my son is going as the Swedish Chef from the Muppets.  It should be an interesting Halloween :)

Freebie Friday - Pumpkin Bear

Today's Freebie is inspired by my daughter's 8th birthday party that will be celebrated this weekend.  She wanted a joint Build-A-Bear Party with one of her best friends (their birthdays are nine days apart).  So this weekend we are quite busy we have two parties on Saturday and the big joint party on Sunday.

In honor of my daughter's first Build-A-Bear, which was a Pumpkin Bear (he was white with jack-o-lanterns) I created my own Pumpkin Bear!

Freebie Friday - BOO!

Today's Freebie Friday is a tad late and I do apologize I was having some technical difficulties and was unable to upload anything yesterday.

I love October, especially Halloween so I decided to do a sentiment with spiderwebs (even though I hate spiders).  Side note you don't have to dust in October because the Spiderwebs give your house character and they can be used as decorations.

I hope everyone has a great weekend I plan on decorating the house for Halloween, with other things besides real spider webs.

Freebie Friday - Fall Is In The Air

I love Fall!  One of the things I miss most (besides snow at Christmas) is the changing of the leaves.  Growing up the Fall Color Tour was amazing.  I remember driving up US2 and 41 and seeing the leaves beautiful shades of reds, oranges, yellows it was amazing.  I love raking leaves, watching the leaves glide and dance gently to the ground.  On afternoons I didn't work in high school I would go over to the park, sit on the bench and watch the leaves fall from the trees.  It was so peaceful.

I also remember my neighbor's "Fall Decor" they always had a  haystack and on pumpkin.  By Halloween it usually had witnessed at least one snowfall.  I decided to draw a haystack and a pumpkin in honor of my childhood neighbor's awesome Fall Decor.  I hope everyone has a great weekend and don't forget to sign up for out Newsletter - October 1st and I have some new exciting items I am releasing.

Freebie Friday - Pumpkin

It is pumpkin season and the fact that I don't resemble a pumpkin yet is truly amazing.  I love pumpkin anything, beer, Pumpkin Spice Lattes, shakes, ice cream, cheesecake, bread, cookies, pie, cake, soup, candy, you name it I will consume it.

I decided to draw a little pumpkin to get everyone in the "pumpkin mood"

Hope everyone has a great weekend and finds a little something orange and yummy.

Freebie Friday - Frankenstein Mask

Do you remember those plastic creepy Halloween Masks?  I do.  I also remember the year I wanted to be Ernie for Halloween.  I lived in Michigan which usually means you need a Halloween Costume that could accommodate a snowsuit, mittens and a hat, this costume was not one of those.  It was a plastic mask with a plastic outfit that tied over your clothes (not snowsuits).  I sort of resemble the kid from "A Christmas Story" with the snowsuit but I had the lovely fake fur hood.  So there I was behind my creepy Ernie mask with the fur hood and plastic pants suit over my snowsuit, Ernie never looked so good.  I love Halloween, despite this horrible costume choice I remind myself I was 3 or 4 and I liked (still like Ernie).  I have had some freaking awesome costumes the Evil Queen from Snow White, Alice from Alice in Wonderland, Marilyn Monroe and that one.

I will say I looked high and low for a photo of Ernie but was unable to locate it.  If I happen to find one I will post it next week.

Until then I hope you have a great weekend :)

Freebie Friday - Box of Crayons

School is officially back in session for everyone now, we have been in school for almost a month now and we are also "test driving" Preschool with my son.  I get a ton a things done but I wish he would keep his hands to himself.

This weeks Freebie is a Box of Crayons.  I love crayons the bigger the box, the better.  When I was younger and if I had money I would buy a new box of crayons.  I love the smell, I love the feel and for me there is nothing more relaxing than coloring in a coloring book with a box of crayons.

I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend, my little man's 4th birthday is today so we will be celebrating all weekend long.

Freebie Friday - Monster

The very first Digis I ever drew were my Monsters, every now and then I draw a few new ones but leave them in the sketchbook. I never scan them or do anything more with them I finally decided to start adding them to the Monster collection.

So there will be at least 12 new Monsters, being released in September just in time for Halloween projects.  I have decided to start adding "Monster Hands and Feet" this was at the request of my daughter. Her reasoning was to make it easier to cut them out and she told me the Monsters looked a tad childish with the stick hands (yes I have a little critic on my hands - lol).

Here is today's Freebie - Monster 22

I hope everyone has a great weekend!  Don't forget the newsletter comes out on September1 - sign up for your monthly Freebie and see what else we are releasing.  Also did you miss the special Freebie I did earlier this week?  Check out Tuesday's Post for another Freebie.

Because I promised photos of my finished living room:
Shortly after we finished moving the furniture back - nothing on the walls in this photo.  The brown floor is actually a brown paper floor that I applied a piece at a time with glue and polyurethaned over the top of it (12 coats).

My Printer's Typeface Tray Photo Montage
A lot of work, blood, sweat and a whole lot of tears later we have a livable living room much to everyone's delight.

I'm Back (with a Freebie)

Greetings everyone,
First I want to apologize about my hiatus our forced home renovations are finally completed (we still need baseboards but it is livable now), school has started which means all the extra circular activities as well.   I did get some organizing done, I drew several new digis (which I am working on getting on the site) and I scrapbooked, I am officially half way through our vacation last year.  I also had a little a bit of inspiration when it came to decorating our new living room - check out this post here.

I also will be offering some Freebies this week to make up for the lack of activity on the blog and site.

This paper was inspired by Crayons, I thought it was appropriate with the kids heading back to school.
