Design Team Announcement

It has been a very tumultuous week, I was saddened by the departure from our design team of Kelly Donovan.  Kelly is extremely busy and she felt it was best for her to take a break from the Design Team.  We do hope Kelly does a guest post every now and then to see what she has been up too.

On Thursday my Design Team Members did a special post for me (so I would not have to pick up an extra blog post).  I really loved everything they did and I was extremely humbled by the blog post, thank you all from the bottom of my heart.

I also want to announce our newest Design Team Member:  Sigrid Martin.  Sigrid is an amazing mom, hair dresser and papercrafter (in her free time).  I am honored that she said yes and I know everyone will love her designs as much as I do!  Please check out her blog:  www.lovescrapreflect.blogspot.com/

Don't forget to sign up for the Newsletter!  Each month there will be a NEW unreleased digital stamp in the Newsletter just for subscribing.  Join us on Facebook for updates and even more sneak peeks of what we are working on.

Thank you, everyone for your support in my newest adventure!

Hello again, I'm so pleased to be able to share with you this picture frame I made using Amanda's wonderful NEW My Little Brother "Masters Series" which you can find HERE.

I covered a plain card frame in green dotty paper then matted it with dark rose pink.
After applying strips of green and pink striped paper around the frame I punched out some flowers, added the butterfly and Amanda's cute ballerina, which was coloured digitally and printed onto good quality white card, then I made a stand and attached it to the back of the frame.

Of course I had to add a picture so I chose the original statue by Edgar Degas. I think it looks great as a mirror image.

Celebrating Christmas in July with MLB's Booga Stealing the Star

Where I live it has been 100°+ outside for what seems like f o r e v e r. It is the middle of July and the winter holidays seem far, far away. In the midst of all the summer craziness, I--like many others--start to plan for my holiday gift giving. It has been a goal of mine for many years to have all of my holiday purchasing done BEFORE Thanksgiving at the end of November. This year it is my goal to hand make all of my holiday gifts. To get in the mood I am celebrating Christmas in July this week! To kick it off I am sharing with you this fun card I made using AJ's Digi Shoppe stamp Booga Stealing the Star from the My Little Brother Stamp Collection! I hope you love it as much as I do!

Make your Dreams Come True! -Mixed Media

I am so very excited to be showing my first ever A.J.S Digi Shoppe Design I did for her blog team. I love doing mixed media and glitter and LOVED doing this one! I could of kept going on and on.......But my idea was to make all his wishes come true.....his sword, running with balloons, maybe a dog at some point...I used a textured canvas and painted light colors on it, then i took glitter glue and covered the whole canvas. While dryingI took Amanda's DIGI "MAKE YOUR DREAMS COME TRUE"(it can be found here) I colored the Girl and Boy with Copics and Sakura Glaze Stardust. I glued them on with a glue stick and  I added spongebob,a little rabbit stuffed animal and a few small details. I hope you like it!!!

Finish it Friday - Digital Papers

So I started doing Digital Papers this week, little did I know the would be this time consuming.  I have so many ideas but myself being a perfectionist everything has to be perfect.  It isn't just the design but the colors and should I include solid papers that match because I made my own colors up.  Other questions like how many should be in a kit?  What should I charge?  Things that most people don't think about when purchasing paper.  I can honestly say I have never looked at a sheet of paper and wondered how long that paper took to design - now I will.  I also want to apologize for no hot links Blogger was being a little bit finicky when I typed this.

Here are the paper packs I finished and can be purchased at A.J.'s Digi Shoppe - http://www.ajsdigishoppe.com/2011/05/digital-papers.html:
